Overview
You can upload and view documents and media files in folders per the following guidelines:
- Users with permission to the folder are able to see the documents and media files.
- Crunch supports documents up to 5 GB. All documents can be downloaded in their original format.

Supported file types: DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT*, PPTX*, VSD, VSDX, RTF, CSV, PDF, ODT, HTML, DCM, TXT, DGN, DWG, DXF, EML, MSG, TIFF, JPG, JPEG2000, GIF, PNG, RAS, CAL, DIB, BPM, PSD, PCT, PCX, DCX, PCD, WMF, EMF, and TGA.
* Crunch does not support videos inside of PowerPoint documents.
Uploading documents
To upload a new document in Crunch:
- Navigate to the folder where you would like to save the document.
- Click New and then select Document in the the dataset drop-down menu.
The upload document panel opens:
- Either drag and drop one or more documents from your device to the drop-zone or click Add documents to locate the document(s) from your device.
A list of selected documents appears. If you check Editors only, any user with viewer permissions to the folder will not be able to see the document. This can be changed later.
- Click Upload to upload your document(s).
Your document appears saved in the folder. If your document says ‘Processing’, wait until the document has finished processing in Crunch to view the document:
Viewing a document
Many document types can be viewed in Crunch, but some can only be saved and downloaded. To view a document, simply click on the document you wish to view.

You can search content of the document by using the Search feature:
You can also click theicon to download the document in the original format.
To close the document viewer, click the x icon in the top right corner.
Document properties
You can edit an existing document in Document properties. Changes you can make include editing a document name, changing the Editors only access permission, and deleting a document.
To make changes to your document, locate the document in the folder. Click the caret beside the document name and select Open properties.
Make the desired changes and click Save.
To delete a document, click the Delete Document button in Document properties. A confirmation message will appear that prompts you to confirm. Deleting a document is permanent and cannot be undone.
