What is an "Alias" in Crunch?
An alias is the unique name in Crunch that allows code to identify and work with a variable.
Crunch also uses aliases when it merges data together (ie: by Appending or Joining datasets).
How to find the alias for your variable
- Go to the Properties of the variable (eg: at the bottom of the Variable Card)
- The alias will be in the top-right corner
