You can organize and share your data with folders in Crunch. You can also save datasets alongside your market research documentation and deliverables:
List view
Crunch gives you the option to see your data in list view or card view. Click the
button to see your data displayed in list view:
Crunch always displays some columns. Users can choose to show or hide other columns by clicking the
button and selecting the column. You can sort by any of the columns by clicking on the column name.
Columns include:
- Type of data, including datasets, subfolders, and various types of documents.
- Name of the dataset, subfolder, or document. The description appears below the name if applicable.
- Created date the dataset, subfolder, or document was first created in Crunch.
- Modified date the dataset, subfolder, or document was last modified.
- Accessed date the dataset, subfolder, or document was last accessed.
Folder three-dot menu
Click the three-dot menu on the far right of any dataset, subfolder, or document to open a menu for the selected item. The available menu options is different depending on the selected item:
Card view
Crunch gives you the option to see your data in list view or card view. Click the
button to see your data displayed in card view. Each card represents a dataset, subfolder, or document:

Hover over a card to see the three-dot menu on the right corner of any dataset, subfolder, or document card. Click on the menu to open the menu. The available menu options are different depending on the selected item:
Filter
Use the filter tabs to limit what data is displayed in the current folder:
- All — show all datasets, folders, and documents
- Datasets — only show the datasets
- Documents — only show documents
- Folders — only show subfolders
Deleting a folder
To delete a folder, open the three-dot menu beside the folder name and select Delete folder:


Click Remove folder, which permanently deletes the folder.
Requirements for deleting a folder
A folder can only be deleted if:
- The folder is empty (no contents in the folder).
- The folder only has documents in the folder. All documents in the folder will also be deleted.
- The folder has empty subfolders (with no contents in the subfolders). The subfolders will also be deleted.
If your folder has one or more datasets, you must first delete the dataset or move it to another folder before the folder can be deleted.
