It may be necessary to delete or suspend a user from your organization’s Crunch account. To do so, you must be an account admin. If you need to become an account admin, please email support@crunch.io.

Deleting a user

Deleting a user will permanently remove a user from Crunch and cannot be undone.

To delete a user:

1. From anywhere in the Crunch app, click the three-dot menu () in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

   

2. Select Manage users.

   A menu appears that shows all the users in your Crunch account:

   

3. Click the name of the user you wish to delete.

   A box appears with several options:

   

4. Click the Delete user button to delete the user.

   A message appears that prompts you to confirm your choice:

   

5. Click the Delete button to confirm. There may be a brief delay after you hit the delete button while Crunch removes the user.

When you navigate back to the user page, the user you deleted is no longer listed nor has access to the Crunch system.

Suspending a user

A suspended user will still remain listed as a user in your Crunch account, but the user will not be able to access any data in Crunch. A user can be unsuspended and regain access to all data they previously had access to.

To suspend a user:

1. From anywhere in the Crunch app, click the three-dot menu () in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

   

2. Select Manage users.

   A menu appears that shows all the users in your Crunch account:

   

3. Click the name of the user you wish to suspend.

   A box appears with several options:

   

4. Select the 'Suspend user' checkbox to suspend the user and then click the Save button.
5. To unsuspend a user, unselect the 'Suspend user' checkbox so the user can regain access to data in Crunch.
