Crunch offers many ways to integrate your customer portal or software application with the Crunch application to create a seamless user experience. Crunch has many integration hooks to choose from, and you can leverage one, some, or all of them depending on your specific capabilities and needs.
Seamless Login
One way to improve the user experience as users go from your website/portal/application to the Crunch application is to hide the authentication steps and log the user into Crunch automatically without having to enter a username or password. Just-in-time user provisioning can be enabled so new users are automatically created in Crunch the first time the user logs into Crunch via OAuth or SAML. For more details, see the Creating a Seamless Login Experience article.
Branding/White Labeling
After you create a seamless login experience for the user, you can continue their unified customer experience inside the Crunch application using:
- Your custom branding logos and colors: For more information see the Add your branding to Crunch and the Can I white-label my Crunch dataset and dashboard? articles.
- Your brand as a Crunch workspace: Transform the Crunch application URL into https://[workspace].crunch.io. For more information on how to do this, please contact Crunch customer support. Note that custom domains (e.g., https://analysis.yourbrand.com) are not possible at this time.
In order to protect your security, the Crunch app cannot be embedded inside an iframe in your website/portal/application. For more details, see the Can I put the Crunch app inside an iframe on my website/app? article.
Folder Homepages
To further personalize your customer experience you can provide custom text and images above the list of datasets in your folders. For example, a welcome message, branding, logos, or external links. For more details see Folder Homepages.
